INTRODUCTION

This website introduces plans to deliver approximately 300 homes, including 50% affordable homes, along with new publicly accessible areas of green space on Land West of Outwood Farm Road. This scheme is also estimated to provide millions of pounds of contributions to public services and infrastructure.

The site has been identified as a sustainable location for development and is included, together with surrounding land, as a ‘potential housing site’ by draft policy H1 of Basildon Council’s Draft Local Plan 2023-2043 (Regulation 18) Consultation.
